1B – Tu día escolar: ¿Qué haces después de las clases?

BLOG POSTS FOR THIS CHAPTER
WEEK OF 3/5 - Four of the assignments.  Call or record ONCE this week.
WEEK OF 3/12 - Two assignments PLUS the special blog post. (due THURSDAY 3/15 and comments on classmates' blogs due Friday 3/16)
  1. Practicar con el vocabulario - Do the two puzzles on p. 8 & p. 9 - do both.
  2. Hablar y Leer - Type on your blog and / or call Google Voice* (978) 267-7255) and answer certain questions relevant to current chapter.
    • Questions are on p. 1 (in the left margin), p. 13, p. 18
      • Don't do the questions if you do not know the grammar yet. If you want to go ahead, read the grammar notes on the last three pages of the packet.
      • Make sure your answers are put on your blog with the page number OR you can call and say your answers.
  3. Hablar y Dibujar - Use an iPad App (Srceen Chomp or Explain Everything) to draw pictures relevant to current chapter and record yourself describing them.
  4. Escribir y Hablar - Write ten sentences using vocabulary from current chapter.  Call Google Voice and say your sentences.
    • Post the sentences on your blog.
  5. Illustrar y Escribir - Use ToonDoo to make a comic strip related to the current chapter. Include at least 10 vocabulary words.
  6. Animar y Escribir - Write a dialogue using current vocabulary and animate the conversation using Go! Animate or  Xtranormal
  7. Escuchar y Cantar -  Listen to and fill in the blanks for the pop culture song related to this chapter.  Song and wksht. will posted on class website. Sing the song (don’t worry, you will not have to provide evidence of singing ;) ).
    • p. 23 - although you just have to translate AND sing.
  8. Leer, Escribir, y Hablar - Read a story related to current chapter, write a brief summary (5-10 sentences) about the story, and call Google Voice * (978) 267-7255)  to say your summary.  Story will be posted on class website.
    • This counts as TWO assignments - story on page 20 and answer questions (in English) on pages 21 & 22.
  9. Dibujar y conjugar - Do a "Conjugarte" drawing. See Mrs. Jacobs for the paper. Click here for an example of what this is. Post a picture of the famous work of art on your blog.
  10. Ilustrar y Escribir - Illustrate the current chapter’s Realidades song.
    • p. 3
  11. Enrichment - Any activity from this website: Zambombazo
  12. Conjugar - Go to this site, make an account (KRHS school id is 2144), and practice conjugations - click on Spanish verbs (on the left). Do two five minute sessions. Take a picture for proof or email it to me.
