The first test will be on Wednesday!

Here is the plan for what you are going to do today. If you have any questions, email me,(kjacobs@govwentworth.k12.nh.us) or text me on the Google Voice # (978) 267-7255. Do not spend more than an hour on this work.

1. Watch the Sr. Jordan video (see below) about the present progressive tense. Take notes and answer any "questions" he has. Type and/or write your notes (share them with me or I will check them tomorrow in class). (video = 9:30 + note taking & posting = 10 minutes)
2. Using the present progressive tense that you learned about in Sr. Jordan's video, do the following (15 minutes): 
1. Write five sentences about what different people are / might be doing on this snow day. 
2. Post your sentences in the "comments" section at the bottom of this page. 
3. Read your classmates' comments and respond to two of them, by asking questions and/or noting similarities and/or differences between your sentences. See my example below (the first post in the comments section).
3. Watch the music video below  (it is a little strange, but might make you feel warmer on this snowy day) and do the following (25 minutes):
1. Watch and listen to the music video.  
2. Fill in the blanks for the lyrics on this worksheet (you can print it and write the answers on the sheet or just write them on a pice of paper). Try to get at least 3 answers on the bottom part, but it is a little challenging.Use wordreference to look up words.
3. Type your answers in a Google Doc and share it with the teacher (title: YOUR NAME BB) or write your answers on a piece of paper.
4. After you have completed the worksheet, sing the song.  
4. **Extra Credit**: Read the poem at he bottom right of the worksheet above, try to understand it, and write a summary in the same Google Doc.
